Clearance Services

We specialise in office and schools furniture clearance. Our service includes the clearance of just about anything from your premises, from furniture to electrical waste. We provide the transport, labour and disposal via reuse or recycling. We store items awaiting reuse until we have found new a new home for your surplus furniture. We are registered with the Environment Agency as a waste carrier and we have appropriate waste exemptions for dealing with electrical waste.

Office Furniture Collections

First Fruit Warehousing provides a totally flexible and pragmatic approach for organisations who wish to dispose of unwanted furniture. We accept any office furniture in any condition – simply hand over the problem and let us re-use or recycle your office items in an environmentally friendly and socially responsible manner. We can collect anything from 1 - 200 workstations.

If you prefer to arrange the transport using your own contractors we can offer a ‘reception only’ service for the most cost effective and environmental disposal of your surplus furniture. Our warehouse will be ready and waiting to offload your furniture according to your move schedule, while you are left free to manage other aspects of the project. We can process in the order of 500 tonnes of furniture per month, this equates to approximately 2000 workstations.

WEEE Collections

We also collect and receive all types of electrical and electronic waste (WEEE) including hazardous weee such as monitors, fridges/ freezers and fluorescent tubes.

Electrical Apparatus Removal

For electrical apparatus removal we can offer our ‘isolate, remove and make safe’ service by a team of qualified electricians. Removed apparatus is processed through our reuse initiative.

Specialist sub-contractor

Much of our work is undertaken on a sub contract basis. If you are involved in an associated business sector and would like to offer your clients a clearance service we would be happy to undertake work on a sub-contract basis. Please enquire for further information on this.
