Work Experience
As a social enterpise we exist to create employment and skills training opportunities.
At First Fruit Warehousing we recycle office furniture. We offer work experience placements for people seeking to gain experience in a real work environment. To work with us you will need to be physically fit and willing to help out in any area of our work, this can include loading and unloading, moving furniture, breaking up old furniture, cleaning the warehouse or vehicles. We also have one admin role for a work experience placement.
Our placements are for a minimum period of one month with a weekly requirement of at least 3 x 6 hour days. We have a requirement for a maximum of 6-8 work experience placements and 1 admin placement. We will provide protective clothing including, gloves, hard hats, goggles and masks. You will need to provide your own steel toe capped boots.
Selection Process
To be considered for a work experience placement you will need to book in for an interview. We hold group interviews once a week for a maximum of 3 people.
